Ok, to all of those left wondering in earlier posts about what on earth E-Vlan is let me explain. It is eseentially a very techy and intimdating word that is used to describe the use of a network connecting a group of computers together over the internet. In short it’s an extension of Cloud hosting over the internet to form a network. Generally pretty basic and simply really when you break it down like that. It is not as commonly believed E-vlan the new bottled water. That’s Evian. Ya Dunces.
My Struggle!
I am currently trying to open my own restaurant. It is a family project and hopefully going to be run, the food cooked and the food served by members from my family. (Hopefully we won’t all fall out!)
It is going to be a small place, serving traditional English dishes like bangers and mash and fish and chips with a gastro pub feel. We have just got a lease on a building in East London and now trying to spruce it up!
It is not easy though with not only trying to find plumbers, plasterers, and kitchen fittings to make the place look nice but also trying to get a licence from the council and get some publicity out about the place.
Also I have been trying to compare gas and electricity prices so we don’t end up paying too much and sorting equipment like tills and computers.
So at the moment it is non-stop! We are hoping to have the place open by the end of May (in time for the bank holidays) and now we really need to concentrate on a good name for the place! Wish me luck – I will keep you updated on the progress!!

Wonga potential
Wonga is an absolutely ridiculous website. I mean what does it mean? Nothing, is it a sound? A foreign word? Who knows.
One thing that I do know though, is that for a site to be brilliant it doesn’t have to have a brilliant name, it just needs to have a memorable one and then also be freaking brilliant at it’s job. Think Google.
Luckily for us Wonga ticks off all of those boxes in one big swoop. An online loans company that takes the pressure out of loans and offers a smile along the way. A perfect site to help a person in need that understands that sometimes, we all need a little help.

Nags Head, Angel
A pretty basic and unremarkable pub but easy access to the tube (it’s just across the road) make this a good place to ‘grab one for road.’
It’s a bit of a Tardis in that it looks shockingly small from the outside but once you get in it is actually quite large. Friendly staff and reasonable drink prices, you can’t really go wrong with the place and it does what it says on the tin. Not bad if you want to have an all day session and something of a pub crawl given its proximity to the tube and resting place on a nice stretch of other bars.
If you’re looking for something impressive and memorable though you probably want to do a more thorough search of pubs in LondonImage: flickriver
